Die Kinder von St. Georg - Die Jugendjahre
Documentary

Part of a Collection: Die Kinder von St. Georg Collection

There are many films about children. There are few long-term observations of their growing up. Until now, there has been no documentary in which children themselves describe their world and how it has changed over the 12 years of their school life, but now there is, for the first time, with "Kinder von St. Georg"!

IMDb 0.0 2012

For twelve years, the filmmakers documented five children from the St. Georg district of Hamburg. After "Die Kinder von St. Georg - Erste Schuljahre" (2004) covered the period from 1999 to 2004, the former first graders are now portrayed as adolescents in puberty in the period from 2007 to 2011, struggling with their identity, having to cope with setbacks, and discovering new strengths within themselves on the threshold of adulthood.
