Ethan Johnson is a filmmaker from San Marcos, California, currently studying Film and Sociocultural Anthropology at Brigham Young University. Johnson’s documentary CAMP FLOG GNAW (2023) examined the cultural significance of the festival’s return following the COVID-19 pandemic, while his latest narrative short, To Run A Yellow Light (2026), continues his exploration of deeply personal stories rooted in emotional and poetic realism.
